User Operations Guide
Illustrated step-by-step procedures for managing inventory, tracking daily material dispatches by project number, and executing bank valuations.
1. Site Material Values: Daily Project Tracking
SyncVentory provides a dedicated daily material tracker that reveals the precise financial value and physical quantity of materials dispatched to any construction site on each day:
Figure 1.1: Projects Overview displaying the blue "Site Material Values" toolbar button and individual project cards with "Daily Value" quick actions.
How to Find Each Day's Material Sent to a Specific Project Number:
- Navigate to Projects (`/projects`) from the left sidebar.
- Click the "Site Material Values" button in the top toolbar, or click "Daily Value" on any specific project card.
- In the dialog, type your project number (e.g.
PROJ-001) into the search bar. - The interface immediately generates:
- Project Summary Banner: Total material value sent to date, active delivery days, and total delivery challans.
- Daily Spend Bar Chart: A timeline plotting daily material value on the vertical axis.
- Expandable Day-by-Day Table: Each row shows the date, delivery challan numbers, quantity sent, and total daily financial value.
- Itemized Drill-down: Click any date row to view item descriptions, categories, unit rates, vehicle numbers, and receiving personnel.
- Click "Download Daily Report CSV" to export the data directly into an Excel-ready spreadsheet.
2. Delivery Challan (DC) Creation & Stock Deduction
When goods leave the warehouse for a site, storekeepers create a Delivery Challan. Stock is deducted atomically upon dispatch:
- Go to Warehouse Ops (`/warehouse`) and click "New Delivery Challan".
- Select the destination project and site location.
- Add line items with quantity and unit cost.
- Click "Issue Challan". SyncVentory logs an outbound stock movement, updates inventory levels, and increments the project's spent amount.
3. Bank Asset Valuation Appraisal
To produce audited equipment and raw material valuation reports for banking facilities and credit lines:
- Click the "Bank Values" button on the Projects toolbar.
- Select a project or choose "All Projects".
- Adjust the Bank Valuation Haircut slider (e.g., 80% valuation rate).
- Review the itemized Book Unit Cost vs. Bank Unit Cost matrix.
- Click "Export Bank Valuation Report" or "Print Appraisal".
